Raw material

Wood and recovered paper are the most important input for mills.
Some mills use wood to make fresh fibre pulp, some recycle used paper products to make new sheets. So there is a substantial interest in the branch to protect the regional forest that give supply, and to support different channels of paper collection. Pulp mills purchase 100 per cent legal wood only, most of the volume certified by PEFC or FSC.
